Bicep Tendonitis In
bicep tendonitis, the tendon is inflamed usually as a result of
an abnormal stress or repetitive use of the tendon. The bicep tendon
located in front of the shoulder helps bend the elbow and turn the
forearm. Signs of this condition include the slow onset of discomfort or
pain in the upper shoulder and difficulty in sleeping on the shoulder.
Pain may occur when the arm is forcefully pushed upward, raised
overhead, or moved behind the back. This information is provided as a learning resource for the benefit of our patients. It is NOT INTENDED to replace personal consultation with your medical professionals. | |
